Life Summarized:

My photo
Hey! My name is Justin and I am married to my ridiculously awesome wife Jules. We are youth pastors at Christ Church of Orlando. Life, up 'til now is golden. Not only am I the student pastor of identity student ministries but I am also the worship leader at our church, the graphics and web designer and I run a photography business called J.Mikl Photography (www.jmikl.com). This isn't the only site I maintain. I have a youth site, a college site, a church site, and a photography business to manage. But that's enough of that. I love my life, my job, and my youth. I must say that I have one of the most time consuming jobs but I also have the best job in the whole world. We can't wait to see what God has in store for us and our quickly growing family. Someone once told me, "You gotta think BIG, dream BIG, and plan HUGE!"...they are words I now live by...

Busheezy.com

Well, once again I was living out my nocturnal lifestyle and I was doing some late night web surfing and I came across this amazing website. Brusheezy.com is a website that I found that allows artists and graphic designers to download and vote for the best custom Photoshop Brushes and Photoshop patterns on the internet! This site is updated every day with new Brushes for Photoshop. It also has Vector patterns and designs that are FREE to download as well. I spent about few hours looking through pages and pages of amazing brushes and I have already started using them in some of my designs. If you use Photoshop at all or if you just like to play around with design then you should definitley check this site out and get some FREE stuff and even Submit your own! They only accept the best photoshop brushes so be sure to read the terms of use for the official rules before submitting your Photoshop Brushes and Photoshop patterns.

The Youth Ministry Chair

I came across this video on a Youth Ministry Blog that I RSS feed to and it so hilarious I almost wet myself but in the end it really hits home the point of why we do ministry. The Skit Guys are so amazing at what they do and they can tell a story like no other. Check it out!

Poking Fun @ Windows...

I found this humorous video on YouTube and thought I would share. Enjoy!

Judah's 2nd Party

Well, we have had the second baby shower for lil Judah and boy was it BIG. My Mom and my Aunt Suzy threw us an awesome shower this past weekend in Tampa and the crowd came ready to shower us with blessings. Here are some of the photos from this past weekend.

Random Thought...

This is a completely random thought so excuse the weirdness of it's content but I found myself watch the election outcome on television and as I watch our new president elect take the platform (not the outcome I hoped for) I couldn't help to notice that our new first lady greatly resembles the actress Sigourney Weaver. I know it's random but tell me what you think.

I VOTED!

Well, today I voted and I found myself walking into the voting precinct excited and I left feeling overwhelmingly proud to be an American Citizen. I just want to publicly thank God that I live in an amazing country that allows me to live in freedom and also allows me to have a voice. We truly are blessed. I know many people look around and feel overwhelmed with how the economy is and how long we have been at war but I think we need to stop voicing the negative and stop allowing that to be the center of our focus and step back and see how blessed we are to live in this free country...and just so you know, "I VOTED!"

Candidate Dance Off

My co-worker sent me this video to me this week. I thought it was hilarious! I hope you enjoy! Can you believe that we are getting a new president this week. Don't forget to get out there and ROCK THE VOTE!

The Masters of Disguises

Well, as usual on October 31st we have our annual Fallelujah Festival at the church and Julie and I have such a blast making our own costumes. We just can't find it in us to spend money on costumes at the local party shops. We always go to the costume stores and get ideas and then find some way to make them ourselves. This year Julie and I went as "Where's Waldo" and "Mike Wisowksi" (pictured left). We couldn't spend the cash on the costumes like we have in the past and due to the fact that we are bringing a new life in this world and money isn't growing on the trees. Granted, they haven't been our best and most well executed costumes but they were fun, nontheless. Here are some of the other costumes we've made in the past years. Last year we went as "Charlie Chaplin" and "Betty Boop" and the year before that we were "Willie Wonka" and "An Oompa Loompa." Tell us how close our likenesses have been. Hope you enjoy!

Judah's 1st Party

Well, today we had out first baby shower for Judah and boy did he get lots of stuff. God is so good! Our GREAT friends, Erin and Mike and the Lafever clan, threw us a shower at the church and the whole church was invited. She (Erin) does such a good job when it comes to entertaining and Julie does such a good job when it comes to opening gifts. HA! After the shower we headed home to install a new closet organizer to make room for all of Judah's new clothes and baby gadgets. Wow! You never realize how much baby stuff there is until you actually need it; just a forewarning for anyone thinking of getting pregnant anytime soon. Well, here are some of the pictures I took just before I left to let all the girls have fun doing all that girls stuff. Keep us in your prayers as we await Judah's debut.
